Appointments

Appointments can be made for a face-to-face meeting or virtually. An appointment is a commitment to the counselling. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify me 24 hours in advance. Without this notice, missed appointments will be charged at the full rate. In the case of an emergency I will consider a makeup session. If you are late for a session, you may not be able to meet for the full time, as it is likely that I will have another appointment after yours.

I am available during weekdays by phone at 604 562-2728. I make every attempt to return phone calls as soon as possible. In the event of an emergency, please contact 911 or the Vancouver Crisis Hot Line at 604 872 3311. I prefer not to use email or instant messaging because it limits my ability to maintain confidentiality.

Payment is due at the end of each session in cash or check. If paying via e-transfer, please send the payment before your appointment to lida.bahrami@gmail.com. These rates reflect the BCACC’s fee guidelines and are comparable to the rates of other professionals in the Vancouver area. However, I offer a sliding rate for those unable to cover my standard fee.

My fees are not covered by MSP. Please check with your extended health benefits to ask whether they cover a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), as well as the extend of the coverage.
